"Julie is great at her job, in all its facets. I’ve been seeing her for a solid year, and she consistently gives me excellent cuts that I love and get compliments on. She listens, is thorough to the last detail, clearly takes pride in her work. She’s friendly, warm, personable, and makes me feel at ease. As a trans man that hasn’t often been the case in a barber’s chair. Plus, the new shop looks fantastic. I know how hard she worked to make sure of that. Congrats again, Julie! See ya next time."

"If you've been looking for a queer friendly barbershop, this is the place! As a queer woman, my experiences at local shops have been hit or miss, sometimes uncomfortable. This shop is visibly friendly, not to mention very well designed, with great details. As for Julie, she's the greatest - listens, asks questions, gives you exactly what you want, with great conversation/therapy throughout. Well worth the trip to Jack London. I'm a lifer now."
